Doubleheaders Scheduled to Tip
in New York, NY and Tampa, FL
The 2009 SEC/BIG EAST Invitational, a two-night men’s college basketball event, will again feature an outstanding lineup of teams and some of the nation’s most recognized coaches. The tournament will be held Dec. 9-10 in two cities: New York, NY and Tampa, FL. The matchups Dec. 9 in New York’s Madison Square Garden will feature Georgia vs. St. John’s on ESPN2, followed by Kentucky vs. Connecticut on ESPN. On Thursday, Dec. 10, at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, DePaul will take on Mississippi State on ESPN2, followed by Syracuse vs. Florida on ESPN.
